Marie Claire Brisbois is a Lecturer in Energy Policy in the Science Policy Research Unit (SPRU) at the University of Sussex. Previously, she has worked as a Marie Curie Research Fellow at Utrecht University, as a Canadian Science Policy Fellow at Natural Resources Canada, and for the Sierra Club of Canada. Her background spans environmental sciences, biological engineering and environmental policy and governance. Currently, she leads the Powershifts project. This project examines how ongoing energy transitions are shifting entrenched political dynamics.
