Lai Choo MALONE-LEE, PhD is Director of the Centre for Sustainable Asian Cities (CSAC) at the National University of Singapore. She is a specialist on urban issues, with research interest in urban sustainability, focusing on its nexus with development dynamics, economic growth, city culture and wellbeing. She has done extensive research on sustainability benchmarking and has developed an Adaptive Framework for Sustainable Growth to support sustainability assessment in cities.
